I decided to try my hand at another snow scene for my latest piece. I call this one Solitude. I think peace and quiet is something we all long for now and then. What better way to experience that than in a small secluded place in the middle of nowhere surrounded completely by snow and nothingness?

This piece is done with watercolor and ink and measures 17″ x 11″.

Not looking forward to the hot Florida summer ahead I found myself lost in my newest piece – A snow scene! There’s something calming to me about snow…The quietness, the peaceful feeling when the ground is covered in a fresh blanket of beautiful white powder. You walk outside and you hear….Silence. There is nothing in the world to me like that feeling. That is what I tried to capture in this piece…A simple quiet moment in time…
This piece is done with watercolor and ink and measures 16 1/2″ x 10 1/2″.

Below is my latest painting titled “Midday Rendezvous”. I’ve always found cafes to be romantic and I did this piece for a show called “Romance and Affairs of the Art”. The exhibit is at the Progress Energy Art Gallery in New Port Richey, Florida. The show is in honor of Valentine’s Day and will be displayed for the month of February along with three more pieces of my work and the works of other local artists. This piece is done with watercolor and ink and measures 12 1/2″ x 18 1/2″.
